No one expected the Lady Gators to play so well or be in the position they are in today. Head Coach Amanda Butler is intense and demanding of her players which in essence brings the best out of them.

Florida now boasts a 20-2 overall record, has currently defeated 3 Nationally ranked opponents, is 6-1 in SEC play, sports a perfect 13-0 record on their home floor, Ranked #4 in the nation in field goal percentage, holds the school record for most 3 pointers in a game with 13, This team has unlimited possibilites.

Coach Butler always says her goal is for the team to improve day to day, with this the gators have climbed the AP Poll to 11th in the nation. I'm looking forward to this team going deep into the tournament.

Coach Butler often yells "Set the tone", I think she does a great job of being a leader for her team, its like she's a point guard all over again.
